A little helping hand

Ready when you are.

A few answers for growing minds and the grown-ups helping them.

How do I start a game?

Choose an activity, read its short instructions, and give it a try. Use Next round to move on after reading the explanation. Play again gives you another selection from the same collection.

Do I need to race the clock?

Take your time. Most games have no timer. Word Relay and Grammar Slam start in Practice mode; their timed challenge is a choice. You can read feedback together and discuss what you learned.

Where are my saved games?

Tap a game’s bookmark button, then choose Saved games in the activity library. Only the game links are saved in this browser. There are no accounts, names, or saved scores. Another browser or device has its own list. You can remove individual bookmarks or clear the saved list.

Can we practice without a screen?

Yes. The worksheet maker creates paper practice from five game collections. Choose a skill and question count, then print the student sheet and answer key separately. You can save either as a PDF using your browser’s print dialog. The lesson plans also include talking and writing activities.

Can I use the words in my own classroom tools?

The download library includes the same JSON banks used by the games, with answers and explanations. Preview a record, download one collection or the complete bundle, and read the data guide for field meanings. Downloads save from bundled content, so use the page’s download buttons.

What if a grade or pronunciation doesn’t fit my learner?

The grades are starting points. Preview the game or worksheet and choose what suits your learner. Examples use US English, and spoken sounds can vary. Invite learners to say a word aloud, explain a different pronunciation, or discuss another possible meaning.

What if something doesn’t work?

Try reloading the page when you are ready to restart the game. Games and browser downloads need JavaScript. Saving favorites also needs browser storage; if storage is blocked, you can still play. Use keyboard Tab to reach controls and Enter or Space to activate them. For a calm classroom setup, choose Practice mode and let learners read the feedback before continuing.
